Functional Skills Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Skills Tutor to join our team at the National Skills Agency.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct functional skills reviews with learners and identify skill and knowledge gaps.
- Develop and deliver individual training plans tailored to learner needs.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress on BudAccess and utilize BKSB software and analytics as applicable.
- Deliver high-quality training to exceed awarding body quality standards for functional skills, both in the workplace and remotely using Teams.
- Collaborate with the Exams Officer to ensure learners are adequately prepared for exams.
- Utilize approved training resources to deliver training to groups or individuals.
- Ensure all learners attend sessions as per minimum requirements and recover missed sessions through recordings or one-to-one sessions.
- Support Tutors in taking full responsibility for their learners, setting, monitoring, and recording progress, and following exam protocol.
- Monitor learner progress and provide support in completing exams, working closely with Tutors and the Exams Officer.
- Detail, monitor, record, and report learner progress to the Exams Officer and Apprenticeship Tutors.
- Supply relevant data and information to support apprenticeship programs.
