Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of Special Educational Needs provision in our primary school.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher with a passion for making a difference to the lives of children with special educational needs. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our SEN provision and contribute to the overall success of our school.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and relevant educational degree (NASENCO)
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational trends
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
