Job Title: HR Officer and Payroll Specialist

Company Overview:

Ribbons & Reeves is seeking a highly skilled HR Officer and Payroll Specialist to join our team. As an HR Officer and Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely processing of payroll and providing full HR support in a confidential manner.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is £25k-£30k per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process contract variations through ITrent, ensuring correct authorisations, accurate information entry, and issuing relevant paperwork to employees. Update databases and records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Liaise with finance to ensure correct details are processed on payroll for all staff and that new staff are added.
  • Provide high levels of support and information to the Principal (or appropriate parties) throughout the recruitment process, including specific information on advertising and recruitment timescales.
  • Record monthly absence e.g., sick leave, maternity, and special leave, both paid and unpaid, by payroll deadline dates.
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety champion to ensure all risk assessments are completed.
Requirements:
  • A 2:1 degree or above.
  • Experience of working in a busy HR/Payroll position. School experience is a bonus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications.
  • Self-starter and proactive.
  • Willingness to work under pressure and meet quick time deadlines.
  • DBS checks.
