Job Title: Adult Diabetes Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a professional to work in the Armagh & Dungannon area, specifically at the South Tyrone Hosp-Social Work Study Ctr. As part of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust team, you will be responsible for providing expert care and support to patients with diabetes.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field of nutrition and diabetes management. You will be required to work effectively as part of a team, providing top-notch patient care and contributing to the development of effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with diabetes to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans to promote healthy living and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant role, preferably within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
  • Degree-level qualifications in nutrition or a related field, with a focus on diabetes management.
