About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Therapy and Support Specialist to provide occupational therapy services to autistic children and young people at Middletown Centre for Autism. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing learning support plans, and collaborating with the transdisciplinary team to ensure effective implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess a current full driving licence and access to a vehicle or alternative transport arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting occupational therapy assessments and developing learning support plans
  • Collaborating with the transdisciplinary team to ensure effective implementation
  • Providing training and support to parents, carers, and professional staff

Salary: £44,428 - £47,420 per annum, pro-rata for part-time staff

Location: Middletown Centre for Autism, with travel requirements throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland

Benefits: 25 days annual leave, rising to 31 days after 5 years continuous service, plus public and privilege holidays, and membership of the NILGOSC pension scheme
