About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is committed to finding the right candidate for this key position in our client's SEN school. As a Pastoral Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students' welfare, mental health, and behavior are effectively managed and supported.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Student-Focused Strategies: Create and implement initiatives to improve student engagement, motivation, and overall wellbeing.
  2. Provide Personalized Support: Offer tailored support to students facing difficulties, building strong relationships with them and their families.
  3. Manage Student Behavior: Oversee and manage behavior and attendance concerns, promoting positive outcomes for students.
  4. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure seamless student support.
  5. Monitor Progress: Accurately record and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and experience in a pastoral or student support role, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a commitment to student wellbeing and success.
