Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in East London. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex mental health needs, including SEMH and Behaviour difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people who require additional support due to complex mental health disorders and other learning needs. You will be responsible for providing individualised support to students, developing tailored plans that meet their unique needs, and working closely with teaching staff to deliver these plans.

You will have the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers, both verbally and in writing, and be able to build strong relationships with students and colleagues alike. Additionally, you will be able to provide emotional support and guidance to students who may be struggling with their mental health.
