**Job Title:** Mental Health Support Specialist

**Estimated Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our Student Support Team as a Mental Health Support Specialist. In this part-time position (3 days a week), you will be responsible for triaging safeguarding and wellbeing referrals, managing a caseload of students, and providing vital support for those facing mental health and safeguarding challenges.

  • Safeguarding and Wellbeing Support: Respond to safeguarding concerns and provide timely intervention for learners at risk. Implement wellbeing interventions for students facing mental health and welfare issues.
  • Referral and Collaboration: Use college referral systems to connect students with external agencies like the Early Help and Safeguarding Hub, local authorities, and mental health services.
