Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced mental health practitioner to join our team in the Walthamstow and London areas. As a social worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals, implementing care packages, and collaborating with service users and carers.
Job Overview:The successful candidate will have experience working with adults, possess excellent assessment and intervention skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures is essential, as well as the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake comprehensive assessments of individual needs, risks, and carer support to promote independence and prevent harm.
- Conduct statutory interventions where necessary, adhering to Inter-Agency Policy and Procedures for Safeguarding Adults.
- Collaborate with service users and carers using a person-centred approach to maximise independence, wellbeing, and choice.
- Manage a caseload according to expertise, providing support and expert advice to social care assessors, students, and partners.
- Offer advice, information, and guidance to service users and carers, ensuring support plans and care package information is shared as required.
- Monitor implementation of care packages and adjust them as needed, reviewing packages to ensure quality and best value.
This position offers a competitive salary of £25.39 per hour.
