Senior Social Worker - Referral and Assessment Team
Location: London Borough of Waltham Forest
Salary: £38.50 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week Monday to Friday (2 days per week in the office)
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Referral and Assessment Team at London Borough of Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
As a Senior Social Worker in our Referral and Assessment Team, you will be responsible for:
* Assessing the needs of children and families referred to our service
* Developing and implementing care plans
* Working with other professionals, including health, education, and police
* Providing support and advice to families
* Attending court hearings and other meetings
About You:
You will be a qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration. You will have excellent assessment and report-writing skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be committed to working with children and families to improve their lives.
