Responsibilities

As a Paediatrician specialising in autism assessments, your key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive developmental histories using preferred methods/tools.
  • Observing the child/young person during sessions and ensuring questions are asked in an age-appropriate manner.
  • Reviewing ADOS reports, developmental history, and relevant collateral information from home and school.

You will also formulate a diagnosis, conclude the assessment, and provide feedback to the family in a kind and compassionate manner.

A competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum is offered, reflecting the seniority and expertise required for this role.
