Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Producer - Live Sports Content

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Producer to join our team at DAZN. As an Assistant Producer, you will play a key role in supporting the production of live sports content, including live matches, highlights, and other programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, produce, and edit content for live match coverage
  • Edit match highlights for on- and off-platform consumption
  • Work in live TV galleries and OB trucks in various roles, including VT coordinator, presenter, and graphics
  • Collaborate with producers and other Assistant Producers to develop and deliver ideas for existing and new projects
  • Support producers and editors to deliver VOD content to a high standard
  • Assist with archiving of material
  • Work to tight deadlines, often under pressure
  • Collaborate with a wide spectrum of internal departments

Requirements:

  • Experience of live and non-live football production and broadcasting
  • Willingness to travel to sports events as required
  • Ideal experience of VT coordinating, prez, and other AP roles
  • Track record of producing VOD content
  • Ability and willingness to quickly understand and work across a wide variety of sports
  • Prepared to work to a flexible schedule that will include early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts as dictated by the sporting calendar
  • Knowledge and experience of Adobe editing systems (Premiere Pro)
  • Hands-on experience of import and export processes, non-linear editing, and media management
  • Knowledge of National League football and an interest in sports in general
  • Driving license and passport
