Speech and Language Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Support Worker to join our team in a SEN setting. As a speech and language therapist in training, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while supporting children with complex needs.
The Team:
- We have a dedicated and passionate team of professionals who work closely together to provide a high-quality education and support service to our students
The Children:
- Our students have various special needs, including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Physical Disabilities, some being non-verbal or requiring personal care
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to individuals before, during, and after lessons
- Assist children in understanding and participating in tasks through positive reinforcement and encouragement
- Develop social skills by fostering a sense of community and inclusivity
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date individual student records
- Promote confidence and motivation through targeted interventions
- Participate in regular team meetings and training programmes to ensure best practices
- Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a positive organisational culture
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding regulations at all times
- Support the unique needs of each child, including medical and personal care tasks as necessary (training provided)
Salary and Benefits:
£85-100 per day based on experience and qualifications
Temp-to-perm contracts available
