Job Description
  • Company Overview: Our church is committed to serving the community and helping individuals develop their relationship with God.
  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced youth pastor to lead and develop our Next Gen ministries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with our congregation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Safeguard children and youth in your care.
  2. Organise and lead a Youth Club for P7 - S3.
  3. Develop and lead small groups for youth (S1 - S6).
  4. Facilitate evangelistic opportunities for the next generation.
  5. Attend events with children and/or young people when possible.

Accountability: This role will be overseen by the Church Pastor, with ultimate accountability to the Leadership Team.

Personal Attributes:

  • Lived-out evangelical Christian faith.
  • Experience working with children and/or young people.
  • Communicates well with the next generation.
  • Approachable and friendly.
  • Works well within a team.
  • Confident and self-motivated.
  • Experience in a local church context.
  • Children or Youth Worker qualification (desirable).
  • Own means of transport.
