Job Summary: We're seeking a passionate Children and Families Worker to help us build a strong foundation for the spiritual growth and development of children and families within our community. This part-time, fixed-term contract will be based at Clyde Valley Community Church in Motherwell, Scotland.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Church Pastor and Leadership Team to develop and implement effective strategies for children and family ministry. Your primary responsibility will be to support the spiritual development of children and families within our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Family Support: Provide pastoral care and support to families, focusing on their spiritual growth and well-being
  • Children's Ministry Coordination: Organize and lead children's programs, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for kids
  • Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local families and community groups, promoting our mission and values
  • Event Planning: Coordinate events and activities that promote evangelism and spiritual growth among children and families

Requirements:
  • Lived-out evangelical Christian faith
  • Experience working with children and/or families
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Approachable and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Salary: £24,000 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
