Job Title: Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large SEND school in Wheatley. The successful candidate will support pupils with mild learning difficulties and Speech, Language and Communication difficulties, and will require experience and an understanding of working with children with autism, speech delays, communication difficulties and mild to moderate behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the class teacher with all activities
- Creating a positive environment where all pupils can excel and learn creatively
- Observing and assessing individual pupil development
