Job Title: Specialist Teaching Assistant - SEND Support

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a dynamic and inclusive environment. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support and create a positive learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the needs of SEND pupils
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to help pupils achieve their academic and personal goals
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEND

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with SEND and a strong understanding of their needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
