We are currently seeking an experienced Vulnerable Support Specialist to join our team based in Coventry. This is a fixed term contract role lasting until 31st March 2025, with a salary of £52,830 per annum, paid on a pro rata basis for 37.5 hours per week.
About the RoleThis role involves providing confidential high-quality outreach support services to victims of domestic violence and abuse. You will work with vulnerable individuals to identify their needs and develop individual support plans to address these issues.
- You will provide short-term and medium-term support to meet the needs of victims/survivors experiencing domestic violence and abuse at high-risk levels.
- Recognise women and children's individual needs and provide tailored support services to meet those needs.
- Work with women to identify their support needs and incorporate these into individual support plans, which you will review and update regularly.
You will also be required to converse with users in their indigenous language, translate complex information and coach users to raise awareness of life in the UK. Additionally, you will provide practical and language help to survivors and victims regarding their cases through the criminal justice system.
