Excellent Opportunity for a Night Senior Care Assistant at Athona Recruitment

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Lancaster, delivering top-notch care to residents.

Salary: £16.50ph (£13.20 overtime)

This is a Full Time position with a two-week rolling rota from 8pm to 8am.

The Setting is a Luxury Care Home specializing in Dementia and Elderly care.

Location: Lancaster

Job Description

This role involves leading and supervising a team of care assistants during the night shift.

  • Administer medications according to care plans and policies.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and identify any deterioration in health.
  • Develop and review care plans in accordance with resident needs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Promote person-centered care for all residents.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals regarding residents' care.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Promote safeguarding practices and protect vulnerable adults.
  • Support care assistants with their training and development.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience leading a care team, particularly in a night setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and risk assessments.
  • A passion for person-centered care and supporting residents.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with healthcare professionals.
