Job Summary

The NHS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring that our service meets the needs of our patients.

You will provide effective leadership and support to all grades of staff, planning and directing activities to provide the optimal standard of care. You will also ensure that the ward/department is clean and provides a safe environment for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Co-ordinating the provision of high-quality patient care
  2. Ensuring that all staff are trained and educated in the appropriate skills to deliver competent and timely patient care
  3. Providing support to all staff to ensure they are supported and supervised in a way that promotes patient well-being and staff development
  4. Supervising the effective utilisation of the nursing resource to provide a safe level of patient care
  5. Developing and maintaining an area of clinical expertise

Requirements:

  • 1st Level Registered Nurse
  • 12 Month Band 6 or Senior Nurse Experience
  • 12 Month Experience in Relevant Clinical Area
  • Leadership Qualification or willingness to work towards this
  • Evidence of Clinical Competence in Speciality
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata, and a range of benefits including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
