Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and flexible General Assistant to join our team at Speedy Hire Plc in Inverness. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot.

The ideal candidate will have a driving licence, basic computer skills, and strong communication skills both verbally and written. You will be required to adapt quickly to support others and contribute to delivering our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading hire provider, offering a range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant, and support services. As a General Assistant, you will be responsible for tasks such as making deliveries and/or collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading, electrical testing of equipment, stock control, and serving customers on the hire desk.
