About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Skills Development Lead to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality training programs to accelerate the development of skilled personnel for frontline positions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Engineering, with experience in assessing within adult learning/education. Knowledge of aeronautical/aviation engineering would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering training programs to accelerate the development of skilled personnel for frontline positions.
  • Providing apprenticeship programme inductions, progress review assurances, and support services for apprentices.
  • Remote assessment of apprentices.

Requirements:

  • A qualification or background in Engineering is essential.
  • Previous experience in assessing within adult learning/education is desirable.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical/aviation engineering would be beneficial.
  • Experience with technology to support learning delivery (MS Office) is required.
