Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of software for our client's next generation of systems.

About Us

Our client is a leading designer and developer of specialist equipment for engineering/science based applications. We offer a relaxed and friendly working environment with flexible start/finish times, as well as opportunities for a 4 day week, 4.5 day week or 9 day fortnight.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop and maintain software for complex systems
  • Lead a small software engineering team
Requirements
  • Development experience in C and/or C++
  • Demonstrable experience of architecting, designing and building software systems
  • Understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle (UML)
  • Understanding and appreciation of code version control
  • Ability to write and review technical documents
