Financial Operations Manager Opportunity
At SF Recruitment (Nottingham), we are partnering with a leading multi-national specialist manufacturing business to establish a dedicated Treasury department.
As a Financial Operations Manager, you will work closely with our client's established shared service centre to oversee cash management, modelling cash in/out for various sites.
Additionally, you will collaborate with HSBC to develop relationships and hedging functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cash Management: Oversee the cash management system with standardized processes.
2. Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements against the general ledger worldwide, clearing accounts for all sites.
3. Financial Oversight: Monitor the financial position of the Group, including weekly forecasts and budget.
4. Bank Management: Efficiently manage company bank accounts and facilities with HSBC.
5. Compliance: Ensure conformity with IFR Standards and tax regulations.
6. Loan Management: Oversee group loans, agreements, renewal, and extension, interfacing with relevant parties.
7. Interest and Debt Analysis: Provide relevant information and reports.
8. Hedging: Collaborate with HSBC on hedging requests.
9. Team Management: As the role becomes established, you will need to delegate tasks, manage a small team effectively, and be self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
10. Communication: Work closely with the wider management team and key stakeholders.
About You:
You will be a competent treasury professional with strong analytical skills, able to troubleshoot issues and produce relevant solutions.
Strong IT skills, including Excel and Word, are required. You will also be an effective and clear communicator.
A relevant qualification, such as a degree in accounting or banking, is beneficial, but relevant experience is more important for this role.
