PLC Software Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled PLC Software Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank. As a PLC Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing industrial control systems using Siemens control systems.
About the Role:
- Design, develop, and implement PLC and HMI code in Ladder, STL, and/or SCL
- Attend a Siemens course and shadow an experienced PLC Software Engineer while learning on the job
- Work on a wide range of projects, from setup and commissioning of drives and associated systems to software interfaces
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to ensure project delivery and company performance bonus
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Siemens control systems or a willingness to learn
- 1-5 years of experience in industrial automation software development or a relevant field
- Ability to work in a small company environment and be exposed to the full project life cycle
- Familiarity with IEC and Control Networks: ProfiNET, As
- Full UK driving licence
