Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our East Midlands team. As a key member of our Quantity Surveying department, you will play a crucial role in the financial cost control and reporting of our developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial cost control and reporting of developments from award to completion
  • Recovery and discharge of retentions and completion of archive material
  • Effective cash management and administration of subcontractor accounts
  • Identification and communication of commercial threats to projects
  • Supervision and training of Assistant and Trainee Surveyors

Requirements:

  • Minimum degree level in quantity surveying
  • Substantial relevant experience gained from within the construction industry
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and COINS
  • Significant knowledge of measurement and valuation, final accounts, and subcontract orders and buying
