Apprentice Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to provide essential engineering support to our production processes. As a key member of our team at Recra Consulting, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to manufacturing, addressing programming and production issues, and ensuring high-quality production.
  • Quality Control Support: Develop Quality Plans/Control Plans and address internal and external non-conformance reports (NCRs) to maintain quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Implement CAD CAM in the CNC Turning area for enhanced efficiency and continuously improve production processes by identifying and implementing enhancement opportunities.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Assist with machine purchase specifications, maintenance plans, and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Project Coordination: Stay up to date with current projects and their status, and aid in machine layout and movement projects.
  • Hands-on Support: Provide hands-on practical engineering support to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Remain conscious of quality requirements and adhere to them consistently.

Desired Professional Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and at least 5 years of experience in a metal-cutting manufacturing company.
  • Proven experience within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the Racing Industry or Aerospace sector.
  • Proficiency in reading manufacturing drawings.
  • Sound knowledge of CNC Turning and experience with CAD CAM.
  • Additional language proficiency, especially German, would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the automotive racing industry, competitors, products, and developments.
