Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Enhancement: Assess and refine quality control processes to maintain superior production standards.
  • Process Optimization: Review production data to optimize workflows, equipment arrangements, and space utilization for peak efficiency.
  • Automation Leadership: Lead the integration of new automation technologies to modernize existing production lines, bringing advanced manufacturing initiatives to fruition.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work alongside various departments to deliver innovative solutions and support digital manufacturing strategies.
  • Project Coordination: Utilize project management expertise to align internal and external resources, ensuring efficient and timely project delivery.
  • Design and Development: Create, test, and implement automation equipment and processes that challenge the limits of manufacturing technology.

Essential Skills:

  • Engineering Background: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Industrial Automation: At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on automation controls.
  • Familiarity with MES and SMART Tooling: Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SMART tooling, or Pulse Tooling is highly regarded, as we emphasize innovative solutions for enhancing manufacturing efficiency.
  • Lean & Six Sigma Knowledge: Certification as a Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Black Belt to promote efficiency.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of Factory 4.0, IIoT, PLC systems, low voltage controls, vision systems, electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics.
  • Analytical Thinker: Strong analytical abilities with a talent for innovative problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative Team Member: Excellent communication skills and the capability to work effectively with diverse teams.
