Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Enhancement: Assess and refine quality assurance processes to uphold superior production standards.
  • Process Optimization: Examine production metrics, streamline workflows, and optimize equipment layout and space utilization for peak efficiency.
  • Automation Leadership: Lead the adoption of innovative automation technologies to modernize existing production lines, implementing Industry 4.0 and IIoT strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Work alongside various departments to deliver creative solutions and support digital manufacturing efforts.
  • Project Coordination: Utilize project management expertise to synchronize internal and external resources, ensuring efficient and timely project delivery.
  • Design and Development: Conceptualize, test, and implement automation systems and processes that advance manufacturing technology.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Automation: Minimum of 1 year in manufacturing engineering with a specialization in automation controls.
  • Familiarity with MES and SMART Tools: Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SMART tooling, or Pulse Tooling is highly regarded, as we focus on innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Lean and Six Sigma Knowledge: Certification as a Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Black Belt to foster operational efficiency.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of Factory 4.0, IIoT, PLC systems, low voltage controls, vision systems, electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robotics.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
