Position Overview

Coating Process Engineer
Company: Outsource UK Limited

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
Employment Type: Contractual engagement
Work Environment: On-site role

Primary Duties:

  • Utilize extensive technical expertise in industrial surface preparation, electrocoating, and finishing techniques.
  • Assess the compatibility of new products based on technical drawings and CAD representations, collaborating with engineering teams for necessary design modifications.
  • Confirm new product introduction (NPI) methodologies through prototype evaluations, ensuring effective masking strategies and initial product approvals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with powder coating processes is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industrial coating methods for metal surfaces, manufacturing principles, and Lean methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills complemented by exceptional communication abilities.
  • Capability to influence peers and guide teams effectively.
  • A degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is preferred. Candidates with substantial relevant knowledge and experience in paint processes and facilities will also be considered.
