Job Title: Senior Product Development Manager
Job Summary:
Vertical Advantage is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Manager to lead the New Product Development (NPD) portfolio for the EMEA region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of NPD projects, from concept to market launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple NPD projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external partners, to align project intake and maintain monthly governance.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage dependencies, and coordinate with US-based teams on product development initiatives.
- Lead project planning sessions to outline deliverables and key milestones, and facilitate collaboration on NPD projects.
- Identify and assess risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery.
- Monitor projects using established tools and processes, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Analyze data to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for process improvement in NPD projects.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in project management within the FMCG sector.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, particularly within a stage-gate framework.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach to NPD projects.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, especially within FMCG contexts.
