Lecturer in Sports and Public Services
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Sports and Public Services to join our team at Gi Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for their future careers.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver excellent teaching and learning experiences to students, ensuring they meet their full potential.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, incorporating external and internal links to enhance student learning.
- Provide pre and on-course guidance to students, supporting them through to successful outcomes.
- Take overall responsibility for the academic and pastoral care of a group or groups, including arranging support requirements and communicating with the Curriculum Team Leader/Curriculum Leader and Progress Tutor.
- Appropriate level teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Experience delivering fitness and sporting activities, both indoor and outdoor.
- Ability to deliver to students at all levels and abilities, using flexible and innovative methods of delivery.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people receiving education and training.
