Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Sports and Public Services to join our team at Gi Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required for their future careers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess students on a range of courses and learning programmes, using innovative and flexible methods of delivery.
- Undertake administrative tasks associated with the role, including learner registration, attendance, record keeping, tracking, and reporting.
- Prepare students for higher levels of study and the world of work, developing specific vocational work and employability skills through the curriculum.
- Provide pre and on-course guidance to support learners in achieving successful outcomes.
- Take overall responsibility for the academic and pastoral care of a group or groups of students.
Requirements:
- Appropriate level teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Experience delivering fitness and sporting activities, both indoor and outdoor.
- Ability to deliver to students at all levels and abilities, using flexible and innovative methods of delivery.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people receiving education and training.
