About the Role

As a Care Support Coordinator at Elysium Healthcare, you will play a vital part in creating an activity-based culture at Adderley Green. This involves using technical and creative skills to develop, deliver, and coordinate programmes focused on social, recreational, and leisure activities for vulnerable individuals.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop links with community-based resources and support service users to engage in local activities. Your role will involve building 1-1 and group relationships with service users to evolve activities and increase engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate social and recreational activities for service users in a secure environment.
  • Obtain information from service users about their social and recreational interests.
  • Document observations and progress in service users' clinical notes.
  • Fulfil security requirements and adhere to service policies and procedures.
  • Conduct basic risk assessments for individuals and groups.
Requirements
  • Basic group work skills.
  • 12 months of experience in a mental health setting (Desirable).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Initiative and motivation.
  • Awareness of Mental Health and its impact.
  • A solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • A full UK Drivers License.
