About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to join our team at Devon County Council. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children and young people in our Children's Homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people to achieve their personal goals and aspirations
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive environment
  • Organize and participate in activities that promote social, emotional, and educational development
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans

  • Capacity to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Ability to implement boundaries and promote positive behavior
