Job Title: Bank Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Residential Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Bank Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our young adults who are profoundly deaf and require assistance in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our young adults in a residential home setting in Mid Devon
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence
  • Communicating effectively with our young adults using British Sign Language (BSL) and other communication methods
  • Working closely with other local organisations and services to provide a range of activities and support
  • Participating in on-job training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Desirable knowledge of BSL, with courses offered to support development
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins and on-call shifts
