Business Development Liaison

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to provide administration and technical support to clients in Intermediary Sales. This role is crucial in ensuring a competent and efficient service is delivered to clients.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to build rapport with colleagues and clients, and have strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customers' needs and address them efficiently
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Help build and maintain relationships with IFAs
- Work closely with other teams and departments to ensure a positive client experience
- Deal with client complaints effectively and in line with regulations
Key Tasks
- Issue pre-sales literature and applications to IFAs, including completing proposal documents
- Check and process client applications, ensuring business has been completed correctly
- Process client requests, such as payment requests, static data changes, and information requests
- Monitor the team inbox to ensure email queries are dealt with efficiently
- Answer the team phone and deal with ad hoc queries
- Set up agreements with new IFA companies and carry out ongoing due diligence
- Provide ad hoc valuations, costs, and charges, and performance information to IFAs
- Support IFAs in setting up and maintaining their online access
- Update and check fees, including providing fee statements
- Perform general admin duties, such as dealing with post, filing, and scanning
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer relationship role, preferably within Financial Services
- Excellent attention to detail
- IT skills
- Team Player
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting capabilities
- Proactive nature to gain efficiencies
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate initiative
