About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Faculty Administrator to join our team in the Faculty of Science at Liverpool John Moores University. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing a friendly and efficient service to students and staff, while also assisting with a range of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the faculty team, including answering queries, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with the coordination of events, meetings, and projects, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other administrative tools to support faculty operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent IT and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE grades A-C or equivalent, including Maths and English.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
