About Ermine House
Ermine House is a compassionate and individualized residential and respite care home for up to 44 residents in a homely and comfortable environment. Located on the Ermine Estate in Lincoln, the home is only a mile and a half from the city centre, close to local shops, library, church, and thriving community.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Carer to lead a small team of carers in delivering outstanding care to our residents. As a Senior Carer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing care plans, ensuring the wellbeing of our residents, and supporting the Home Manager. You will also be responsible for managing your time effectively, supporting your team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of carers in delivering outstanding care to residents

- Support the Home Manager in the management of the care home
- Manage time effectively, supporting team members and ensuring delivery of high-quality care
Requirements
We are looking for a positive role model with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. You will have previous experience of working in a residential care setting, with a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or be prepared to study for NVQ Level 3. You will also have supervisory experience, with the ability to delegate tasks, support inductions for new starters, and conduct 1 to 1s.
