We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Care Assistants, promoting a culture of kindness, respect, and empathy.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Administer medication, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and take appropriate action.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A competitive hourly rate, subject to experience and qualifications.
- Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG.
