About the Role

As an Instrument Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and upgrading the compressor stations and above-ground installations that are essential to the National Transmission System. These high-pressure systems ensure gas flows smoothly across the UK's pipeline network, supporting homes, businesses, and industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing safety, control, and measurement systems at our compressor stations and above ground installations.
  • Acting as a site controller, issuing permits, and ensuring the safe operation of works.
  • Conducting isolations and supporting construction and commissioning of new assets.
  • Travelling across the Rugby region, covering different sites and receiving ongoing training to develop your expertise.
