Advanced Practice Nurse

This is a hands-on position where you will be role-modeling clinical excellence daily, whilst also supervising clinical care and overseeing quality and safety standards.
You will ensure all care is coordinated and that safe staffing levels are maintained to ensure all care delivered is safe, caring, effective and responsive to the Patient's needs.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience within an appropriate healthcare setting, with surgical ward experience or acute care setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and planning nursing daily care
- Providing pre and post-operative care
- Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
- Supervising and mentoring staff nurses, healthcare assistants (HCAs) and student nurses
- Organizing and prioritizing workloads
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and skill set, ranging from £40,000 per year, along with 247.5 hours of annual leave per year, rising with service, and a company pension.
