Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to provide telephone-based support services in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Counsellor to work with a new service in the area, providing high-quality support to individuals facing various challenges.

Responsibilities
  1. To deliver a professional and efficient telephone counselling service, catering to diverse client needs.
  2. To demonstrate expertise in working with clients presenting complex issues, including those at risk or distressed.
  3. To adopt a solution-focused approach, empowering clients to achieve desired outcomes within the shortest timeframe possible.
  4. To collect and accurately record client information on the designated database.
  5. To effectively identify and manage risks according to the client's Risk Guidance Policy.
  6. To serve as an online CBT mentor, offering guidance and support to clients.
  7. To undergo provided training and apply relevant skills during calls, including trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, clinical assessment, and safeguarding.
  8. To meet and surpass individual and team performance goals as per the quality framework.
  9. To maintain a tidy inbox and respond to all client queries within the agreed service level agreement.
