Nutrition Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join our Transformation Unit in Birmingham.
As a Nutrition Care Specialist, you will work across Trust sites, delivering healthy lifestyle interventions and advice to service users. You will support the multidisciplinary team in meeting the nutrition and hydration needs of patients, promoting improved physical health for those with mental health conditions.
The salary for this role is approximately £27,000-£30,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. This position is Mon-Fri, with no weekend or bank holiday cover required.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver nutrition education and training to patients and their carers
- Support the delivery of healthy lifestyle programs and behaviour change models
- Work in partnership with the multidisciplinary team to promote improved physical health for patients
- Level 2 English and Maths qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in a healthcare subject
- Experience of working in a mental health setting, delivering healthy lifestyle programs and behaviour change models
