Nutrition Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at HCA UK. This role involves providing expert nutrition support for patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Providing evidence-based nutrition care to patients requiring critical care and diabetes management
  • Developing and implementing personalized nutrition plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
  • Conducting nutritional assessments and evaluations to inform patient care decisions
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in nutrition support

Requirements

  • BSc Degree in Dietetics or equivalent qualification
  • Current BDA and HCPC membership (State Registration)
  • Able to work as an effective team member, collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
  • Expertise in nutrition support, gastrointestinal conditions, surgical and medical care

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including Bupa private health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
