About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients to help them achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Experience working in an acute inpatient setting, preferably in a neuro rehab or community team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
