The Role of a Mid-Market Corporate Consultant at Lockton Companies.

Job Description

As a Mid-Market Corporate Benefits Strategist, you will play a critical role in supporting the service delivery of mid-market client accounts within our People Solutions practice. Your primary responsibility will be to lead multiline mid-market clients as a trusted advisor, ensuring client retention and satisfaction.

  • You will develop a strategic approach to benefit programmes, understanding clients' benefit requirements and implementing solutions that meet their needs.
  • A key aspect of your role will be to ensure renewal timelines are met, market reviews are undertaken, and policies are placed in advance of renewal, minimizing disruption and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • You will also review service disruption/dissatisfaction and implement appropriate actions with carriers to resolve issues promptly.
  • In addition, you will support the broader development of insurer relationships, fostering strong partnerships that benefit both our clients and business.
  • Another essential responsibility is to ensure compliance requirements and internal controls are fully met, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • You will also serve as a peer reviewer/technical oversight of associate consultants and benefit analysts, providing guidance and expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record of experience in UK mid-corporate benefit broking/consulting environment, with a strong understanding of the local market and regulatory requirements.

A CII qualification is desired, but not essential. You will need to demonstrate exceptional client relationship skills, a commercial/value-add mindset, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme, life insurance, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
