**About the Job Opportunity**

**Salary:** £88-£110 per day (PAYE)

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Vision for Education - Kent in Sevenoaks.

 

About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the growth and development of SEN children, promoting a culture of inclusivity and understanding.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to assessing and documenting children's progress, ensuring a nurturing environment that encourages each child to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the class Teacher to design and deliver engaging lesson plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere, utilizing diverse learning resources to cater to individual interests and needs.
  • Work closely with the Teacher and other Teaching Assistants to develop personalized provision plans, providing targeted support to children on a 1:1 or group basis.

 

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with SEN children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
