Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide vital administrative support to SEN staff and students, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Record Management: Manage records and documentation related to student support and services, including Individual Education Plans (IEPs), progress reports, and attendance records.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing training and professional development events for staff, coordinating schedules, venues, and materials.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact for parents, caregivers, and external agencies, responding to inquiries and providing information about the school's SEN services and resources.
  • Document Preparation: Support the SEN team in preparing documentation for meetings, including taking minutes and compiling reports.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably within an educational setting, where familiarity with special educational needs is beneficial.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
  • Qualifications: Proficiency in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management, as well as familiarity with school management systems.
  • Personal Qualities: A collaborative and approachable attitude, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of staff, students, and families.
