Job Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research in advanced manufacturing logistics, including developing innovative solutions and strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing research projects to advance the field of advanced manufacturing logistics
  • Collaborating with faculty and industry partners to identify research opportunities and develop proposals
  • Developing and maintaining a strong research agenda, including publishing research findings in reputable journals
  • Providing research support to faculty and students, including data analysis and technical assistance
  • Staying current with industry trends and advancements in advanced manufacturing logistics

Minimum Qualifications

An earned PhD in Advanced Manufacturing Logistics or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing logistics and current research in the field
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and industry partners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Considerations

The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to the growth and development of the Advanced Manufacturing Logistics Institute, including participating in research collaborations and developing proposals for funding.
